Carlucci
Just saw this on GameInformer.com Game Informer "Word from our sources on the street is Nintendo is cooking up an all new Zelda-themed GameCube bundle. During this upcoming holiday season if you purchase a GameCube system, you?ll also get a bonus disc that will include the following Zelda games and goodies: - Legend of Zelda - Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Legend of Zelda: Majora?s Mask - Zelda Documentary Unfortunately, we weren?t able to find out if any of the past Zelda titles will be upgraded like Ocarina of Time/Master Quest was on the first Zelda demo disc. We are also hoping Nintendo will also squeeze on some 3rd party demos and trailers as well, but that is still to be determined. It?s also unclear whether you will have to purchase a GameCube to get the disc, or if you?ll be able to buy it separately. More on this hot little disc soon?" Mark E
Gah! I hope you can get it separate. I would love to take up arms against Adventures of Link again. Game Over: Return of Ganon indeed! Seems odd that you'd be able to get Majora's Mask only via that offer though, so I'm hoping it becomes non-specific to buying a new Cube or not. Starhawk
If they don't release this seperately, the anger from millions of Zelda fans will cause a rift in the time-space continuum that will allow us all to travel back in time and kill the guy who made it a bundle-only exclusive. So, no worries.
Romier S
I would rebuy a Gamecube for that, I know thats sad to say,. That I would fall for such a marketing scam (if it is bundle only), but I would do so in a heartbeat and I'd be giddy while doing it too. EDIT: Oh and by the way...where the hell is a Link to the Past??
Mark E
where the hell is a Link to the Past On your GBA. Nintendo's not going to ice its potential sales from its own product. Since the two consoles are quite intertwined, a "free" copy of Link to the Past with all the other titles would make the cart redundant to certain segments of the population. Combine that with the upcoming release of Four Swords on the Cube and we can see that while Link to the Past would be a nice capper, it would be smarter to not include it. They can use the extra space to put on some of the CD-I games .
Starhawk
They can use the extra space to put on some of the CD-I games I dont think so, Mark. They want people to buy this bundle.

The Daisy
I'm just hoping that they do something like they did with the first demo disk. Put it in stores to be sold with the console, and if retailers put a price on it (like they did with the demo disk) we can just pick it up that way. I'll be all over this disk. Can't wait. Mark E
They should cel-shade the first two NES Zeldas. Oh yeah .
heavy liquid
Man, we better be able to get this separately! Otherwise, I'm afraid that I'd be like Romier and gleefully hand over my money to buy a new Cube! I'm ashamed to admit that I've never played Majora's Mask. They should cel-shade the first two NES Zeldas. I also think it would be really cool if they updated them graphically somehow. Unfortunately, it would probably be too expensive, and too many fans would cry foul.
blackcalx
You can't see it, but I'm frothing at the mouth. The good news is that if this is exclusive to a bundle there is always eBay. \m/ (-_-) \m/
Sam P
WOAH! If I have the money when it's released it'll be more than a good enough reason to buy a 'Cube!!
JFo
I sincerely hope that this compliation won't be available only with the purchase of a GameCube. Otherwise many people will miss out on playing Majora's Mask. The worst thing about that game was the fact that so few people got the chance to play it. Angry the Clown
I still wish Nintendo would turn to doing retro-compilation release. Good money to be made there. Give us a new version of Mario All Stars, and do a Zelda compilation in the same style. I'd love that so much. Daniel
Carlucci
Hold on to your joysticks! Rumor has it that the gamecube bundle including the Zelda disk will be only $99 bucks!: According to inside sources, a GameCube price drop is eminent. We?ve be told that it shouldn?t be too long until Nintendo announces that you?ll be able to pick up a Nintendo GameCube for $99. But what?s even better is we?ve been alerted that the Zelda bundle disc that we talked about last week will be included! When the Zelda bundle will be available, and if the disc will be sold separately is still unknown. At that price, I will DEFINITELY pick up another gamecube. Heck, if you get another controller, a console, AND the Zelda Games at that low, low price, it's a no-brainer.
Sam P
What are you going to do with another GC? As for me, this'll be a great opportunity to get my first 'cube.
Mark E
I would only buy a second Cube if they released a gold coloured one to commemorate the Zelda bundle. That would rock . I'm still waiting with baited breath to see if we're getting a separate release of that disc. I hope so, just because I don't feel like paying a bunch of cash for it on eBay :green:. I really hope this spikes the Cube's sales some. I realize the third-party support is lacking but I feel the system is fast-tracking its way into the 'criminally underrated' category. That would give me a chance to practice SSBM, in what I'm sure would be a vain attempt to withstand the ass-kicking that my boys bestow on me every time we play. CArlos. Sam P
Carlucci, Fair enough. Pharmboy, Do you wear gold chains, gold necklaces, and do you pay for everything with stacks of cash? Do you also want your GameCube gold plated? If so, you might be a pimp! Heheheh, just kidding around.
Mark E
do you pay for everything with stacks of cash? I pay for everything with stacks of plastic. It's what separates me from the multi-console owners. I didn't realize pimping was so lucrative, maybe I'll take it up .

Do you also want your GameCube gold plated? I bet Mr T would have one around his neck. In all honesty if they released this bundle at $99 I would consider picking it up just for all the Zelda games. I never owned an SNES or N64 so I never played any of the Zelda games in between the first and latest.

That's if it was going to be a limited production run, which I doubt. And even if it was initially released as a limited edition set, they will probably change their mind once they see how well it does. In which case, you will be left with 2 extra GCs and be down 200 bucks. :?
