GreenMonkey
Controller ergonomics: http://www.playphoria.com/features/indepth/controller-ergonomics/ I cought this from a stray slashdot link http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/28/1917256&from=rss while researching the difference between PS1 and PS2 dual shocks. I thought he had some good points and was fairly accurate. Except maybe with the first Saturn controller - I thought it is decent, the 2nd one is better though. PoisonJam
Enjoyable read, and I especially like the comparisons he draws between controllers and coffee. Genius!
Adam Tyner
Kinda hoped it would mention the 6-button Genesis controller, which I greatly preferred to the 3-button. Even if I wasn't playing something like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter II, the 6-button became my controller of choice from the moment I got it. Robot Monkey
Why does Sony stick with the split D-pad?
Josh
Why does[/i'] Sony stick with the split D-pad? I can only guess, but I think it's becasue they want to distinguish it as a digital, 4-way set of buttons as opposed to a 360-degree analog stick.
