MastaRedSnappa
What movie (or movies) do you NOT own but when you channel surf to it, for whatever reason, you always end up watching it (and wondering why you've never added it to your collection)? That movie for me is... Apollo 13. Probably because of the recent Space Shuttle launch, they've been showing this on TV alot more recently. Over the years, I've probably seen this movie at least a dozen times and I really enjoy it but it has never made its way into my collection (no idea why either). secretvampire
GOOD topic idea! I would have to say Trading Places. I have seen it like ten times on cable, yet I always get the feeling that if I actually owned it, I wouldn't put it in my player. It's just good to catch on a lazy afternoon near the holidays. Jeff W
Nothing better than killing a weekend watching older horror movies I never got around to picking up, I'd have to say stuff like: Screamers, Deep Rising, Deep Star Six, Phantoms...Raw Head Rex I would have had to have added Trading Places to that list too but I finally got a hold of a copy last week, and haven't watched it. Chris The Rock
Trading Places for me, too. Also Trains, Planes, and Automobiles and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Oh, and Another Stakeout. (guilty pleasure. for some reason, this one tickles my funny bone, although I despise Rosie O'Donnell.)
Adam Tyner
It used to be Predator, which I technically owned on Laserdisc but never had handy...but since I bought the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-released DVD last year, I guess that doesn't apply to this discussion anymore. Oh well.

Bwahahah...that's awesome. I'm going to NYC for the first time on Thursday with my wife to visit some friends who just moved there, I'm really damn excited. I don't think I'll be scoping out any locations from You've Got Mail or Sleepless in Seattle though.
PoisonJam
Shawshank, maybe, although I've seen the damn thing so many times on TNT that if I did own the disc I would likely never even unwrap it.
GreenMonkey
Hmmm I was part of the other threads...but I don't watch TV any more. The little bit of TV I see is when I'm visiting my wife at work (3rd shift) at the hotel...and that is normally Aqua Teen Hunger Force/Family Guy/Futurama on Adult Swim, or King of the Hill on Fox. Carlucci
"When Harry Met Sally". If it's on, I'm either watching it or I'll tivo for later. "Johnny Dangerously" I really need to break down and buy this on DVD. It's hilarious, you Farging Ice-Holes! "Big". Funny, and touching. I like it just enough to watch it when I catch it on, but not enough to go out and buy it. Carlos.
JoeyN
Big, Spies Like Us, Armed and Dangerous, Summer rental and Caddyshack are probably the biggest ones. Notice most of them have John Candy in them. His films are always on on satuday and sunday capt
exile
Spies like US is the big one for me and the main reason I haven't bought it on DVD is because I can't get it in Widescreen. Until then they can keep their stinky fullscreen crap.
General Zot
Any of the Charelton Heston sci-fi flicks. Omega Man, Soylent green, Planet of the Apes, whatever. I'll never own them on DVD but I love it when I catch one on TV. Other random thoughts: Session 9 (too scary to plan to watch), Titanic (guilty pleasure), Knight's Tale (really guilty pleasure), Summer Catch (Jessica Biels in a swimsuit -> :drool) . Carlucci
Breakfast Club! With all it's edit's and dubs. "Eat my shorts" Good one! Add that one for me, too! You mean it's not "Eat my Socks", as in the TBS version? Carlos.
Angel P
Little Big League and Quick Change. Thankfully, Quick Change will be released on Aug. 30th. "Flores para los muertos"
JTello
Red Dawn (1984) Never bought it, but it draws me in whenever I come across it.
