I'm a database consultant for a big oil company. I do work in Oracle and Sql Server.

 

I started off in the mailroom of this company and have worked my way up. I got my degree in MIS in 1999. Been with the same company for 14 years.

Anyway, I work for an ad agency, but my job is graphics, printing and publishing oriented, I do a good amount of web work as well. My job title is officially "Senior Production Designer"

Professional here. I work for a telephone company (Sprint) doing IT/Broadband support as well as network operations monitoring. I'm also a freelance artist though I don't actively pursue that side of my life (though it is my passion). I've also been known to dabble in some writing on occasion .

I was fairly successful at retail management until I decided it was driving me crazy. I just quit...no planning, no nothing...to go back to school. At some point I realized I needed some sort of job to buy food so I returned to what worked for me in the past: retail.

 

It's a MAJOR step down from what I was but the focus is school (hence my vote as "student"). I went from 110 employees answering to me to 6 (oh, and the pay dropped along the same scale ). I run a Game Crazy video game store for Hollywood Video.
