MrJames
Congrats, Josh. The "Socom thingy" consists of us chatting via Xbox Live dashboard while playing Socom online on PS2. Gotta love broadband.

Jason Merrick
I'm on Live with GRIT practically every night around 6-7pm Pacific time until I get too tired to continue... maybe I'll see you there.
JTello
-I've got to ask, I've never played SOCOM (poor me, I know) but doesn't it have voice chat? So, why do would you use the Live dashboard to chat while playing SOCOM??? I can only imagine that SOCOM's voice chat sucks??

Joel, I've never played it either, but they were telling me about this practice the other night. Apparently, with SOCOM you have to hit the talk button, wait for a beep to tell you to start talking and then you have 5 seconds to speak. That's it... so with the new XBOX Live dashboard chat, they can just have open mics the whole time. Question though: Does everyone you are playing with do the Live chat thing? If not, do you guys wear two headsets each so you can hear the Live chatters and the PS2 chatters?

Josh
So. What are my first games to get? What's the next Live title that all you asshats will be swarming to? And why the hell are none of you online whenever I turn on my Xbox?!
Eldorado
GOOD LORD!!! That is one hot woman. I love red-heads. Sean

If not, do you guys wear two headsets each so you can hear the Live chatters and the PS2 chatters? Joey was not in the XBL chat room the night we were playing. I had on both to talk to him. I had cables and wires all over the damn place when I was playing that night.
Whooter
And why the hell are none of you online whenever I turn on my Xbox?! I have a device rigged up so that when you're detected logging into Live, I'm automatically set to "appear offline". And, as someone who has nothing better to do than sit and refresh LCVG all day at work, how did I miss Dean's now edited redhead?

Eldorado
It was Alyson(sp?) Hannigan. Damn did she look good.
Robot Monkey
She did look cool and Dean even checked that it was okay to post! But Dean probably saw how quickly Alyson derailed the thread and opted to keep the pic in reserve as an antidote in the event that Spidey ever makes an appearance. I would thank him for that if I were you. What are my first games to get? What's the next Live title that all you asshats will be swarming to? And why the hell are none of you online whenever I turn on my Xbox?! Okay, you have GRIT and Tetris. ESPN Football is a lot of fun, but keep in mind that you can't play a pick up game for twenty mintes like you can for other games. As for your second question, most people seem to log on after 9 or 10 pm their time. -j
