Graeme
Went to see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang last night, and it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's really really funny, Downy Jr and Kilmer are both excellent in it, Michelle Monaghan is hot (and she acts fine too), plus it's really well written and you're never quite sure where it's going. It does break the fourth wall quite a bit, especially at the beginning, but it works for the most part and adds quite a bit of the movies humour as well. Overall it's just a completely entertaining movie that should appeal to anyone looking for something a little different. I won't link to a trailer because it does the film no justice at all. If you saw the trailer, ignore it. If you haven't seen the trailer, don't seek it out and try going into the movie knowing as little as possible. General Zot
Been dying to see it, was going to go this last weekend. Long story short, wife and I were both sick all four days. No Kiss Kiss, no Bang Bang. It's only still playing in one Denver theater now. I hope they hold out until this weekend, it sure sounds like a great flick. James T
I went to see it today. I wanted to see it when Saw 2 came out, but my friends were more into the Saw 2 thing, so I went with that. This is a great movie. I never knew comedies can be so smart too! I love the "idiot dictionary" thing.
General Zot
Finally saw it last night, awesome flick. What a shame it never received a wider release, talk about a genre buster for buddy/detective movies. I expect it'll gather a following and do well on DVD. I know I'll be buying it the day it comes out. One of my favorite parts was the 2nd ending with Perry and the old man, then Robert Downey Jr. immediately telling you to just "ignore all that sh*%..." Or when he questions why certain scenes are even in the movie during the narration and then bumbles everything up. Hilarious! EDIT: And by far my favorite line was, "This isn't good cop / bad cop here, you're dealing with New York and Fag. You better start talking."
