foogledricks
I think I'll buy Half-life 2 for the PC, but I will probably get DX for XBOX. I'm not sure if I'll get Doom at all
Carlucci
Xbox. I can't afford to (and don't want to) upgrade my POS computer. Carlos.
Whooter
I voted PC, but I'll probably get all of them for both platforms.

Chris
Xbox For cost of getting a new pc with a videocard that could run that stuff I could buy many, many Xbox games. Hell, I could buy many Xboxes. Of course, there's all that good stuff about big displays, surround sound and couches, too.
kelley
PC, but I bet DOOM3 will be bought for both.
heavy liquid
XBOX. But Half Life 2 may be bought for both if it takes too long to come out on the Box.
iainl
XBox. I had planned to avoid buying an XBox, because the main game I wanted it for was Halo, and I could just get the PC one when it came out. Then realised that an XBox was ?129, while the upgrades my PC required to make it play new games well would cost at least three times that. Plus I didn't need to wait any longer. Bargain. foogledricks
For the love of God! You are all considering buying it for BOTH!? I don't understand when people do that...you're crazy! I've seen people that have posted that they bought Madden, ESPN, NCAA, etc... for both the PS2 and XBOX. I just don't understand. Even if I had money to burn, and I'm not exactly hurting, I would feel way too wasteful doing that. No one else feel weird or guilty about buying more than one copy of a game? Sorry, knee-jerk reaction.
Camp
Doom won't be Doom on the Xbox. I don't care what anyone says. I didn't even know Deus Ex 2 was coming to Xbox... is it shipping day & date or will the Xbox version come later? I'd love to say I'd get all 3 on PC (the way they should be played) but, with school expenses I don't know if I can afford to re-build my PC again. Especially since there is a real possibility I may need a G5 to do video work. Wait...is Doom III coming to OSX??? Hmmm.... 8)
iainl
Everything else id has made its way Macbound at some point, so if you're going G5 that is an obvious answer, yes. As much as I can see the argument for the PC being "the way its meant to be played" for Doom 3, I'm expecting to be spending most of my time with multiplayer, and Live is just too much better when it comes to that. Actually, that is the main argument I see for getting both; PC for single player and getting it right away, then XBox for Live games and because the graphics would be horribly scaled back to run on my machine. EnemaEms
Well, if my PC was capable to running those, I would buy them on that. I prefer the mouse/keyboard for FPS. However, since my PC is used mostly for Internet, burning, MS Office, and minor gaming (Counter-Strike and Medal of Honor), I'll be buying for the X-box. Live is great for multiplayer, but the bad thing about Live is the lack of dedicated servers. PC online gaming is still superb in this area since many games can have 32+ at a time without any lag. But the negative with it is the hacks and cheats. -Dean-
Whooter
Basically I'll go with PC for single-player, and Xbox for the Live play.
Angry the Clown
X-box, because I can't be bothered to get my PC updated to a spec worthy of running either of the two games, even though as far as controls go, PC would be my preference.
