Angry the Clown
Is she aware of Animal Crossing yet, Glen?
The Daisy
I went to go get that for her from Circuit City on Friday, but they were sold out. She's hooked on Mario and Luigi at the moment. I also just picked Bust A Move and Pac N Roll for her on Friday. She's set for a bit. I'm also going to give her Nintendogs to play around with eventually as well. Glen
GreenMonkey
My wife got her parents to buy her a DS for christmas. She's tired of spliiting it with me. She's fond of Kirby, Nintendogs, Mario Kart, and she just bought Animal Crossing. She's always been a casual gamer though. Inevitably, though, she spends much more time watching the like 600 DVDs she has.

Chris
That's hilarious, Glen. Nintendo's plan to attract gamers from outside the traditional demographic seems to be working so far on the DS. Hopefully it will continue on the Revolution. My girlfriend played my DS more than I did over the holidays (not that I didn't want to, mind you). She loves Nintendogs and Mario Kart. ChrisBardon
Great news! For me, getting my wife into games is proving a little tougher than getting her into comics, but I've definitely made progress. I haven't been able to use the DS in a week since she's been playing through the Advance Wars campaign again, and she's say better at me in any of the Civ games. I suppose it's just a matter of finding the right titles/preferences. Just think though-if you're both gaming, then you can justify spending twice as much on it ("Well, it IS for both of us...") secretvampire
My wife barely ever plays games...maybe a little Pac-Man or Super Monkey Ball, anything simple to pick up and play. But MAN does she love Geometry Wars on my 360. First game I've ever seen her play where it's "just one more game."
boogieman
First game I've ever seen her play where it's "just one more game." That f'in game was made to torment my soul. I think the game knows it too, because now it sends the black hole and the snakes after me alot sooner than it used to. Same with the red kamakze ship.
