It's official. My wife is becoming a gamer.

I went to go get that for her from Circuit City on Friday, but they were sold out.

She's hooked on Mario and Luigi at the moment. I also just picked Bust A Move and Pac N Roll for her on Friday.

She's set for a bit.

I'm also going to give her Nintendogs to play around with eventually as well.

That's hilarious, Glen. Nintendo's plan to attract gamers from outside the traditional demographic seems to be working so far on the DS. Hopefully it will continue on the Revolution.

My girlfriend played my DS more than I did over the holidays (not that I didn't want to, mind you). She loves Nintendogs and Mario Kart.

Great news! For me, getting my wife into games is proving a little tougher than getting her into comics, but I've definitely made progress. I haven't been able to use the DS in a week since she's been playing through the Advance Wars campaign again, and she's say better at me in any of the Civ games. I suppose it's just a matter of finding the right titles/preferences.

Just think though-if you're both gaming, then you can justify spending twice as much on it ("Well, it IS for both of us...") :)
