BdoUK
I woke up this morning to some terrible news. As most of you probably know by now a Comair flight heading for Atlanta crashed on takeoff from Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, KY. Reports on survivors are sketchy at the moment. Most on board are believed dead. As far as I know I don't think anyone I know was on the flight. This crash really hits close to home because I have taken the redeye connection flight to Atlanta many times before. I know there are a few folks here who live in the Lexington area (Dome, Ryan) so I hope you and your families are all safe.

JFo
News reports are saying that there is only one survivor and he or she is in critical condition at the moment. Very sad news indeed.
Dimness
My thoughts and prayers are with the families. Just yesterday I picked up my brother and sister from the airport. They were returning from Hawaii.
MrJames
Two sources, citing physical evidence from the scene, have told CNN the plane may have taken off from the wrong runway -- one that was half the length of the other. How do you explain this to the families? Very sad.
BdoUK
I have confimed that one of my bosses was on the flight. I just saw him last week so it is very hard to believe that he is gone. There was a large conference in Puerto Rico next week that many of my coworkers were planning to attend. I just pray that no one else was on that particular flight to Atlanta. Keep his family in your prayers.
Derrik Draven
Sorry to hear that Brandon. I'm up here in Florence, Ky. Being that I work for Delta, it's always sad news to hear of a plane going down, especially when it's quite possibly, a stupid mistake.
