Calvin
Reports are that it isn't a terrorist act, & that the plane involved belonged to the New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle, who has been killed in the crash. Details are here. More details here also. My thoughts & prayers go out to those involved in this tragedy.

From seeing the Tv and News Channels from around here... ALot of people were saying here we go again. ESPN has just reported that Lidels Licence was indeed found on the street below the tragedy. Josh
*sigh* what a week to be a New Yorker and a Yankee fan. Not sure who the other person on the plane was. Condolensces to his / her family as well. From a Yankees.com report: "Lidle, whose team was eliminated Saturday in the Division Series by the Detroit Tigers, told reporters on Monday that he planned to fly home to California on Wednesday. He said it would take roughly 15 hours of flying time, though he planned on stopping at least twice, including one stop in Arizona."
Angel P
Not sure who the other person on the plane was. Condolensces to his / her family as well. 1010Wins is reporting that it was Lidle's flight instructor with him on the doomed plane. http://www.1010wins.com/pages/2445.php
Camp
The initial news reports on this were frustratingly tasteless. Reporters on CNN were actually trying to get witnesses to say they saw signs the crash was intentional and, therefore, terrorist related. The US news media is such a joke. I can't even begin to identify with their target audience.

Ron
My God. If I was that third guy that might have been on the plane, I would be pretty freaked out right now. (you know, beyond the fact that my friends were dead...)
