Are You Getting Phantasy Star Universe?

 

Just trying to gage the LCVG interest. With so many unfinished games, as well new shooters and other great games coming out so soon, I'm not sure if now is the best time to jump into this RPG.

I'm not sure. The gameplay is okay. I'm not a graphics shill but, man, the game just doesn't look very good. Still, it has its appeal. I'll be playing the beta some more this weekend and hopefully get a taste of what the game is like past the first few levels.

I'm on the fence. Probably not, with all the other games I barely have the time for. That said, I may become envious when I hear your strategy talk on here.

 

Does it come with a free month?

I believe it does Josh, along with a hefty single player component meant to bring back the old glory days of Phantasy Star. I've read very little on the single player side as far as impressions though, so I've no idea if they succeded on that front.

I think I will pickup this game and see how it is online first before making up my mind about the subscription. Also need to guage how much time I will have to play it.

Maybe for me. I don't intend to buy it, however I may rent it via GameFly & pay for a couple of months of usage.

Was unable to get the online trial to work and I'm too caught up in Elder Scrolls IV to get into PSU - plus, the fee is a turnoff since i'm already paying one to XBL begin with.

I'm a maybe on this one. While I'm interested in the game, I didn't get the chance to play the demo as much as I wanted. But, it definitely seemed interesting, and the added bonus of playing with other LCVGers makes it even more interesting to me.

 

The fee is a bit of a negative, and so is the waiting for impressions part - since the longer I wait to get it, the less people there probably will be playing it.

Change my vote to a solid NO. The 360 version is getting bad reviews and it's supposedly a PS2 port.

 

Just saved $60 more.
