Tonner Cyn
I have a 37" HP HDTV. My digital cable box is connected via DVI(box)-HDMI(tv), with standard red-white audio connections. Lately, when I watch the High-def NBC channel, I get an occasional crackle/pop in the audio every so often. It isn't constant, but it does happen every few minutes. Is this something I should be worried about?
Starhawk
I've also been getting those on my Hi-Def HD Cable box mainly when coming our of pause or from fast forwarding, but the pops were never there at my previous residence. I found out recently that I had a ground loop noise problem when I tried to use a particular powered Component switcher. I was assuming the noise was also causing the pops, but that's a total guess on my part.
