The interview:

--------------------------

1. What kind of work do you do?

I was a sys admin at an ISP but a couple of months ago I quit to become a full time dad and I'm building ukuleles on the side now. Between that and the Ukecast podcast I'm busier than ever

2. How did you get into Ukulele making? Describe the process.

I got into ukes a few years ago, and since I like building things (like my MAME cabinet etc) I knew it was a matter of time. I've started simple with Cigar Box ukuleles and am slowly moving over to traditional ukes.

3. What is your earliest videogame memory?

I remember some random games in stores but I would have to say the strongest is playing our Odyssey2 for hours thinking it was the most amazing thing ever - membrane keyboard and all. Then we somehow missed the Atari and jumped right to the Colecovision Adam "computer."

4. What is your favorite game of all time?

Hard question to single down, but I think playing co-op in the Rainbow Six games online is some of the most fun I've had with games.

5. What's hobbies/activities do you enjoy when you are not playing videogames?

The previously mentioned ukes and my wife and I are self-admitted Disney Park freaks.

6. What was you favorite awesome video game moment that you wish you could experience again for the first time?

Bringing home a new console is always a rush

7. Your moniker is "Zathras". Where did that come from?

Zathras is a humorous character from Babylon 5

"Zathras good at doings, not so good at understandings"

Thanks, Chris! Hope you had a swell birthday.

Carlos.
