Ron
So I just noticed that my pack of sugarfree Juicy Fruit (official gum of the NBA, btw) has a warning that states "Do not expose to extreme heat." Now what could possibly happen to my gum if it's exposed to extreme heat? A quick (search on) google didn't help, so I'm wondering if anybody here has an answer? (real and/or hilarious explanations are acceptable.) Could it be something more than just that it will melt or burn?
MastaRedSnappa
I'm guessing that the extreme heat will either ruin the gum (i.e. make it not gum-like, much like the brittle pink so-called gum they used to include in packs of baseball cards) or create a rift in the space-time continuum that will end life as we know it. One of those two.
Josh
It melts. Ever try to get melted gum out of carpet?
Thrillho
yeah, it just melts. I once put a piece in my mouth that was sitting in the heat of my car all afternoon, it instantly turned to liguid in my mouth, gross.
Josh
I kinda liked the brittle pieces of so-called gum in baseball card packs. Weird, I know. I also like the hollow gumballs from machines. I think it's about the experience rather than the results.
Ron
Oh... so extreme heat like, a hot day? I was thinking more like "do not throw this into garbage that will be incinerated. The fumes released will bring forth a zombie horde."
secretvampire
I kinda liked the brittle pieces of so-called gum in baseball card packs. Weird, I know. I did too. I was not in the majority. The best part was buying a wax pack from like five years prior and eating the five year old gum to the horror of your friends. Angry the Clown
Fuse the two ends together. It’ll explode…. This is true. Emilio Estevez says so in Mission: Impossible, and movies have the answers to everything.

Candy corn is awesome, although that would seem to be a minority opinion. And wax lips are the candy of a 1000 uses!
Josh
People in general hate candy corn. I love it. Works out for me on Halloween since everyone dumps it on me.
