Volatile chewing-gum?

Ron

Recommended Posts

So I just noticed that my pack of sugarfree Juicy Fruit (official gum of the NBA, btw) has a warning that states "Do not expose to extreme heat."

Now what could possibly happen to my gum if it's exposed to extreme heat?

A quick (search on) google didn't help, so I'm wondering if anybody here has an answer? (real and/or hilarious explanations are acceptable.)

Could it be something more than just that it will melt or burn?

I did too. I was not in the majority. :) The best part was buying a wax pack from like five years prior and eating the five year old gum to the horror of your friends.

:rock Hells yeah. I also like candy corn, and those fake cola-filled wax bottles. Oh - and wax lips.
