Graeme
Can't wait to see the Napster and Lars cars go toe to toe (or wheel to wheel).

Shonuff
yeah well i can give you one game that is ALREADY OUT and worse than the metallica (or as i call them, Alternica) game... BEHOLD...GHEYNESS
Mark E
Wow, they can only hope to have their game be as well done as the amazingly strong offerings from other bands such as Journey and Aerosmith .
Chris F
yeah well i can give you one game that is ALREADY OUT and worse than the metallica Wait! Morgan and Sessler (what I wouldn't do to put my boot in that guys head) gave that game a 4 out of 5 on X-Play! And although I do enjoy the WWE immensely, a car game based on it just seems so, well... bad.
Robot Monkey
Can't wait to see the Napster and Lars cars go toe to toe You're on to something with "Lars car." Why not market a candy bar called a "Lars Bar," too, dammit? Seriously, is there any reason to believe this will be anything but derivitive garbage (I'm asking about the game here, not the new album.) Remember when I-76 was stylish and different? That would be fun on PS2 multiplayer, Xbox Live, etc. I liked the customizing in that game. The inability to customize mechs in MechAssault was detraction for me. -j
Chris F
I'm asking about the game here, not the new album. Don't worry. The new album is garbage too.
Camp
So, is it "inspired" by the old Metallica (Kill 'em all through ...and justice for all) or the post 1990 candy-ass pop band with the same name?

Graeme
Seriously, is there any reason to believe this will be anything but derivitive garbage "We are excited to bring game fans an interactive entertainment experience that delivers intense vehicular combat action along with the powerful music and energy of Metallica," said Luc Vanhal, Vivendi Universal Games' president and COO, North America. "Today's announcement further underscores Vivendi Universal Games' commitment to work with leading artists in the entertainment industry to create engaging interactive products that appeal to the expanding games audience." Sounds good!!

Whooter
my guess: candy-ass. After you've heard J.Kli, that's really all anything else is... I'm all about the phat beats and dope rhymes...
AnthonyVolpe
So, is it "inspired" by the old Metallica (Kill 'em all through ...and justice for all) or the post 1990 candy-ass pop band with the same name? Neither... they bought 7-string guitars and told Kirk not to do any solos so they could compete with Korn and Linkin Park. It's all about the low B-chord, baby. Robot Monkey
Do you think we'll see someone enter this thread with balls big enough to defend Metallica? Oh, they're big enough to defend Metallica. But I choose to use my powers for good, not evil. -j
