Derrik Draven
I wanna see those "megatextures" that this game has. Sounded like a pretty cool technology.
SCREWNUT
The game is out. Did anybody pick it up? What's it like?
Jeff W
Haven't seen it on anyones gamercard, and I've been looking.
SCREWNUT
Chris F from the site has it. Saw him playing it last night. Wal-mart and my blockbuster store have it here for $59.99. Looking online right now for reviews!
Jeff W
I didn't mind no one else really buying or playing Frontlines so much because the SP was fun, I really had a blast with it so it was worth the $$ to me. Quakewars would definitely have to be the same way because I can't imagine too many forum members will pick it up. If you get it Greg definitely let me know what you think. Paul
Looking online right now for reviews! Reviews have not been too kind as I was interested in it. Seems to have a small following but only 4000 people ranked so far, only was the first day though. No SP makes it tough buy without a group of people to play with. Ouch! yeah average reviews have it at a 6.5 out of 10. Think I'll pass. If I want to play a game that nobody plays....I play shadowrun or The club! Calvin
Well, sucker that I am - I went & got it. It plays like a futuristic Return To Castle Wolfenstein, which is a good thing. I like it so far,but I don't know yet whether or not I'm gonna hold on to it...
SCREWNUT
I picked up a used copy of it tonight. Like Calvin says it plays like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and uses the same ranking style as seen in Frontlines: Fuel of war. I like it. It's a keeper for me! GreenMonkey
OK, if Screwnut and Nightwing have it, I might actually pick it up. Since you're two of the few people ever on late that I actually play a game with. And the only people to play Shadowrun also I'll keep an eye out for a deal on it. SCREWNUT
I'm never trading in Shadowrun! I'm a running 4 life! COOL Monkey! Now all we need is to get Weremicheal to buy it! Maybe Cyberwoo too since he loves COD 4. I'm trading in Frontlines next week cause I've played it to death, that and the club too!
Calvin
I'm still playing this if you guys want to do a get together one night. And more of you should get this...
SCREWNUT
I picked it up in a deal Calvin (traded a friend for it) I just haven't had the time as of yet to play with you. But i do see you online and I'm going to join one of these nights for a quick game! Besides I enjoyed our Shadowrun nights too!
Jeff W
DLed the demo for the PS3 version and gave it a whirl tonight, maybe it just looks bad compared to all the Bad Company I've been playing but I didn't like it at all. To me personally the graphics looked a step down compared to Quake 4 and the gameplay was just blah, nothing to really make it stand out amidst all the other generic FPS titles. I left it on the HD to give it another, longer session tomorrow, also I played the single player not the MP so that could definitely make a difference as well I suppose along with the fact that I still can't quite get used to the PS3's triggers. kelley
The 360 version is much better than the PS3 version Is that because of Nerve doing the 360 port or what?
