Tonner Cyn
So, Marvel has been making plans for this one for a little while now. They brought on the director of The Transporter (I think) and have Zak Penn writing the script. The big news is that the role of Bruce Banner has been cast and announced. It is... Edward Norton! ChrisBardon
Not a bad choice at all. They're just scripting now for 2008 though? Post must not take as much time as it used to...

MastaRedSnappa
I haven't been following this... how does this new movie relate to Ang Lee's Hulk travesty? Is it a sequel? A fresh start (a la Batman Begins)?
Tonner Cyn
I haven't seen anything definitive yet. I recall hearing that it was going to loosely continue from the first one although with a different take/tone, but that could easily have changed. My concern is the same as Chris' though - if this is still in pre-production (at best), how could they hope to meet a summer 2008 release? Kyle M.
If they want me to go see it, they better ignore it completely.
exile
I kind of enjoyed the Ang Lee version. It grew on me after a while. I just don't know if Edward Norton can play the role of a Superhero.
Lutter
I can't think of a better casting choice than Edward Norton.
ChrisBardon
I can't think of a better casting choice than Edward Norton. Steve Buscemi
General Zot
Yes, Mr. Pink is the ultimate choice IMHO. Talk about the archtypical geek who gets sand kicked in his face, then discover the Charles Atlas program. I'd love to see him tackle the Hulk. That was the problem with Eric Bana, th3 guy is way too good looking and all-american football star to play Banner. Bixby had the short man syndrome to funnel into the role, Buscemi could easily pull from the same tap. But ... Edward Norton is a damn fine actor - no argument threre. One of our best, I love just about everything I see him in.
Lutter
Steve Buscemi Hahaha, you're right! He does do the nerdy/badass thing to a T.
Kyle M.
...Edward Norton is...damn fine...I love just about everything I see him in. I'll be content with him staying clothed. Thanks.
foogledricks
I hope there is a prison shower scene in this movie.
MastaRedSnappa
I hope there is a prison shower scene in this movie. Only if Ang Lee tries to make a combo sequel to a couple of his latest movies... Hulkback Mountain? Now that I think about it, that's kind of an interesting idea... making one combo sequel to two different superhero franchises. Crossover stories are popular in comics afterall. You're right-forget a Batman or Superman sequel-let's just get Chris Nolan and Bryan Singer to co-direct a Superman/Batman movie

ChrisBardon
Hulk will not be green? Gray Hulk? Wow, that's REALLY going old school... That'd certainly take some balls though-the Hulk and Green have been pretty much synonymous for years. Of course, they could go with the smart green hulk, or the gray "Joe Fixit" Hulk, but you'd think people would want "Hulk Smash!"...
Camp
Was the Hulk gray at some point in the comics?
Romier S
Was the Hulk gray at some point in the comics? The Hulk was originally gray Camp. He was changed to green after his debut (due to the poor printing quality of the color gray at the time) and the gray Hulk was later resurrected along with a slew of other peronalities including the original Savage Hulk, the strongest of them, and the Professor which retained Banner's super intelligence but had Savage Hulk's uber strength (though he was more vulnerable and could be hurt quite often). The gray Hulk represents Banner's adolesence so his personality is that of a spoiled teenage "bad ass" (or the leg breaking Mr. Fix it). This personality split happened after Banner was reintegrated with the Hulk who had become an unstoppable menace after being "split" from Banner in the first place. Angry the Clown
Liv Tyler to play Betty: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/film/news/e3i3eb7af9e30299473a874228c5b9f2c20 Oh and Avi Arad has since shot down the talk of a grey Hulk. “It was a joke!” laughs Arad, in town to talk up Spider-Man 3, which opens on May 4. “Here’s what it was. There were 30 people around a table, and they said ‘is there going to be a grey Hulk?’ And I was thinking about it and I said, ‘who knows?’ It was one of those moments. I had just got back from Japan and I was trying to talk about Spider-Man and this guy was pushing me on The Hulk so I thought I’ll be coy. I don’t know what colour it is, and all of a sudden it’s headline news.” But Arad did mention a new colour – so will the eponymous star of Louis Letterier’s movie, due out in 2008, still be green? Or orange? Or pink with yellow stripes? “It’s a different shade of green,” confirms Arad. “But the colour is not like the old Hulk. And no, there’s no grey Hulk.” http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20636
