PHiL
Anyone one up for some gaming tonight? Turtles? MiniGolf?, RSV? , Tennis? .. Anything!!
Romier S
I'm up for just about anything. I wouldn't mind giving Virtua Tennis another shot. If not, I've really not played Worms or Catan online as of yet.
Brandon H
Game for anything that keeps me from sinking back into the black hole that is LOTRO. I purchased Catan and would be willing to try although I'm a total newb. Also up for Worms and Virtua Tennis, and I still haven't tried RS:V's "Red" content.... or the new GoW maps. Even a little co-op Crackdown would be well enjoyed.
Josh
I'd be up for Tennis, and I think I may actually be home.

Brandon H
Game for 10.
Mark E
I'll be on around 10-ish if anybody wants to get a game of Catan on the go. I can host, but my connection as host is a tad spotty and if anybody wants the achievement they're welcome to it . Edit - And that's not limited to Catan. I can also be defeated at Mini-Golf, Worms, or have useful skillz as a co-op Root Beer Tapper .
JoeyN
I should be around at 10 for Catan , Minigolf, etc...
JTello
I'm up for Catan. Sound like most people are shooting for 10pm est, so I'll be on at that time too. :tu
JoeyN
Someone start up the Catan room at 10. I can only stay for one game, so someone can take my place when i leave
Tom
I will try to make catan, but after a gorging of food tonight, I'm not sure if I'll be awake at 10. And yes, I realize I'm saying that at 9:15. I'm at the point right now that even catching up on the forum I'm taking quick breaks to close my eyes to "rest them".

Mark E
Thanks for the Catan, guys :tu Sorry you got bounced, Joey, and sorry I wasn't tossing out more table talk, which I usually do during Catan . However, my wife isn't feeling so hot so I was tending to her while playing the game, then had to log afterwards for husband duty. As a preview to Wednesday, anybody up for some C&C 3 then? JTello
I was so into my single player of Catan that I missed the LCVG Catan invite, damnit! :bh Anyone else play Catan on hard yet? Fucking game just cheats. If you have any type of lead the AI won't trade unless they need something and only when it's thier roll. Well, the AI ganging up on me and shutting me out would be tolerable, if only the game didn't manipulate the "random" rolls. As it worked out, one of my starting settlements was on an 8, and throughout the entire game there was only a single 8 rolled. B.S.! :furious To the developers of Catan I'd like to give out a big,... :flipoff
Covak
You're joking, right? I've played many, many games against 3 hard AIs and they don't cheat. The only problem with them is that they're pretty damn good Especially Sun Tzu.
JTello
I guess you might say I'm partially joking. The part about the game not trading when you have the lead is true, and thus it makes sense in that they don't want you to win. So I complain in vain here. But,... I literally went an entire game with a single 8 rolled. I kept checking the roll stats in disbelief. Furthermore, what I didn't mention in that last post was that I eventually built a new settlement on the other 8, as I was SURE the number had to start coming up. At that point of the game I was so frustrated anyway I figured I didn't care how dumb it might be to build on the other 8, I just wanted to see what might happen. Not another 8 was rolled from that point on. (Here I am not joking. I may have had the worst, most unlucky game of Catan ever, but I'm not exaggerating or joking.) From what you guys have posted on your experiences, my next game on hard will go likely a bit better. I hope so!
Covak
Betting on 8 is always a good move But I've had games like that in real life, too. Overall, my experience with Catan mimics my experience with the real game. There aren't so many die rolls in a game of Catan that you're going to get a nice distribution, and some games are really messed. The hard AI seems to keep the cards flowing by casting a wide net. Ron
To anyone who sent me an invite last night (there were a few): Apologies for not responding... my Xbox decided to act like it was dying (repeatedly freezing, flashing the three red lights... ) It started working again after I booted it without the harddrive & then with... but I assume this was a harbinger of dark times for me, 360-wise.
