  1. I don't always have something to say, but I've lurked here practically every day since August 15th, 2003. Happy anniversary to the longest relationship I've ever had! (probably helps that I don't talk too much)
  2. I have to say... I have zero idea what the context of this gif is... but dear God, it is the funniest response gif I have ever seen.
  3. What I've done is change the sort title to be "Bond 01" "Bond 02" etc. If I wanted to see all the movies by actor, I do a filter on the movie page.
  4. No, there isn't. For some things I've added videos to the "Specials" season. Sometimes they are fleshed out in thetvdb but more often then not, I just name things myself. Keeping deleted scenes or features with a specific episode or season is not possible :-(
  5. The PC shouldn't have been doing anything else. I did install NextPVR for television, and that service was running in the background, but I don't believe it was recording anything, other then that, it's a pretty blank computer. I just played some of it on my iphone (same network) and it worked fine, so I'll have to do some more investigating on what could have caused the issue. Plex is set up for direct play, it COULD be doing some stuff with the audio, as I said, it worked on my iphone, but my guess is it's not sending over the 7.1 audio track to my iphone. That could be causing some i
  6. I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but is there a downside to just having Plex stream the raw mkv rips, aside from the size of the files? I'm assuming it runs smoother with a file that has gone through handbrake, correct? I ask because I got a computer just for streaming movies, and was watching a mkv of Mad Max, and several times it said the server was running out of resources to process it (stopping the movie at least twice). The machine should be beefy enough to handle it: Processor: Intel i3 4340 3.6 GHz Dual Core Haswell w/ HD 4600 Graphics RAM (DDR3 1600): 4GB
  7. Iron Giant Deluxe figure available for preorder at http://mondotees.com/ My first figure purchase. edit: http://io9.com/watch-brad-bird-play-with-mondos-iron-giant-figure-and-1680911616 Great video of Brad Bird checking out the figure.
  8. Subscription plan starting January 13th. $19.99/month, or $44.99 for 3 months. Only PS4 to start with, but other devices coming soon. I need to see what titles they have available, but it's definitely got my interest more then their old pricing structure. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/01/05/playstation-now-subscription-program-all-the-details/#sf6733256
  9. If I need to be dropped, I'm fine with that too. I have been meaning to get back into the game after waiting out the growing-pains, but I'm not sure when I'll actually do it.
  10. Very excited that this has finally come out. Going to have to give this game another go this week.
  11. Did you contact them about that? I've heard of a lot of people getting refunds, I've debated doing that myself I haven't touched the game in a while, because I've been afraid of further disappointment. Your post isn't making me want to turn it on.
  12. *sigh*.... I really do go back and forth on asking for a refund. Hearing you guys bailing isn't making it any easier to stay invested in it.
  13. I also can't really bring myself to play much until they get it fixed. Last time I tried to get on I couldn't connect. I've been VERY close to contacting Sony and demanding a refund, because I feel that even when they get this game fixed (if they ever do), the audience will have moved on and the "social" aspect will never be what it was intended to be.
  14. I haven't had any problems with connecting since Tuesday. Was able to bump LCVG2 up to level 9 and am enjoying the game much more now that the online features have come alive. Love the little challenges that come up in game. Then screwed around with creating some LCVG orange/white/grey paint schemes. I little disappointed that is so much more limited then painting in Forza. I remember spending hours messing with layers and putting together some designs that I thought were pretty great. I guess my gaming time is so limited now, I wouldn't be able to do that, but still.....
  15. I'm in LCVG2!!!! Maybe this was all a marketing stunt, because I'm way more excited now then I would have been if it just worked out of the box.
  16. Graeme (Drunk Old Man) set up LCVG2. I found it by looking at the clubs my friends were part of.
  17. I requested a membership into LCVG2 a couple of days ago, but who knows if it went through. I'll try again, or feel free to send me an invite.
  18. I'm usually a very forgiving person when it comes to stuff like this, but I'm definitely irritated. Not ONCE have I been able to be online with this game, and I swear I have checked it a dozen times a day since it's launch. It has unfortunately just left a very bad taste in my mouth with this game at this point, and had I not gone digital, I probably would go and trade it in. As it is, I pre-ordered the game and the season pass, but honestly, I don't think I'll be doing that again. I have such a backlog of games, there is really no need to snatch things up right away.
  19. So, is there a place to join a club, like with Destiny's clan sign-up? I've looked but I couldn't find anything.
  20. No, I don't think I would risk running in the rain, at least not a heavy rain. In a "misty" rain I would probably put my jacket over it and feel fine, but it definitely doesn't feel overly protected. I like the look of the Belkin armband, so I'll probably upgrade (based on your impressions). I didn't expect to get my 6+ until the end of the month, so I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up Thursday. My first impression was that it was too big to run with, but by the end of the first mile, I wasn't even thinking about it anymore.
  21. I got this armband on Amazon on Friday. I went on a quick 3 mile run on Saturday and a 10 mile run on Sunday, and the armband worked great. My biggest problem was getting over my nervousness that it was going to fall out as my previous armbands have completely encased the phone, and this is just holding it in with the rubber around the edges. But it seemed snug enough.
  22. I had HORRIBLE speeds on the PS3 over wireless. I have my PS4 wired, and haven't had an issue with the speeds that I've seen, though most of my downloads happen while the system is on standby, so maybe they fluctuate more then I am aware.
  23. I was having the same issue, but it appears to be resolved this morning.
